I hope you enjoy this. It’s mostly done, still have a little more developing to do on it. So, here it is. Hope you enjoy this piece. I know it’s not in proper format, I apologize for that.
For a little set-up. They’re in a host club in Tokyo, Japan. Things like champagne are commonly bought in host clubs, more than sake… so it would be the most common drink to grab.

You… You fascinate me.
LOVELESS
I fascinate you?
Ryan nods.
How do I fascinate you?
RYAN
For starters, you are one of the
most beautiful boys I have ever
seen.
Ryan places a finger under Loveless’s chin. He tilts his head towards him.
Loveless blushes.
Why do you say that?
RYAN
I’m merely stating the truth.
LOVELESS
Why me?
RYAN
When I saw your picture on the
menu… I just knew. I wanted to
know more about you. I had to spend
more time talking to you.
Ryan gets closer to Loveless’s ear.
(whispered)
And there’s more that I would love
to explore with you.
Loveless’s eyes widen bigger.
Another beat.
Uh, I… I mean… I’ve…
RYAN
Yes?
LOVELESS
Y-You’re the first man…
RYAN
First man to come on to you, I
doubt that. I saw you with that boy
last night at Arty Farty.
LOVELESS
No, I mean… You’re the first man
to approach me here.
Ryan strokes Loveless’s Leg.
I hope that you don’t think I’m
being too forward.
LOVELESS
N-no. N-not at all.
Ryan kisses Loveless’s cheek.
Loveless clears his throat.
So, would you like something to
drink?
RYAN
What do you recommend?
LOVELESS
I’ll be back with something…
Loveless walks over to the bar. He grabs two champagne flutes and a magnum of champagne.
Loveless walks back. He sets the champagne and glasses on the table. He sits close to Ryan.

Ryan opens the champagne. He pours the champagne into the glasses. He hands one to Loveless.

Ryan gestures to Loveless with his champagne.
…winds up in a place like this?
Ryan gestures to the club as a whole with his champagne.
Loveless downs half his glass.
I needed a job. I was still in high
school and…
Loveless blushes a little. He gulps down the rest of the glass.
It’s hard to find a job that’s
willing to cater to a high school
schedule.
Loveless takes the bottle. He pours himself another glass.
I guess the money’s too good for
you to just walk away?
LOVELESS
What concern is it to you what I
do? You just met me the other
night.
RYAN
You’re right. It’s no business of
mine… call it curiosity.
LOVELESS
I have a question for you. Why are
you here with me. Why aren’t you at
a hostess club? Why don’t you
cruise Ni-Chome?
RYAN
You want to know why I’m at a host
club?
Loveless nods.
What happened with that boy last
night?
Loveless shoots Ryan an angry look.
I think…
LOVELESS
That…
Loveless sets down his glass with a thud.
…is none of your fucking
business.
Loveless stands up.
Now if you’re finished with this
interrogation, I would like to
salvage what I can of this evening.
Ryan grabs Loveless’ hand.
