Universe Wondering
Life seems to be in one of those interesting dichotomies these days. It almost is like the old Chinese curse of living in interesting times.
Just when I start to see the pieces starting to fall into place in front of me, it seems like at other ends they’re falling apart.
While there are a lot of people who buy into the “OMG the worlds going to end” hysteria, I think that the universe is never so transparent. The world isn’t going to end in December. What if the problem with the Mayan Sun Calendar is that they ran out of stone.
Sure, it’s been correct in predicting things… or at least that’s the story.
What if it wasn’t the world was going to end, but things are shifting. The universe is righting the balance.
Now granted, I would like to believe that because a lot of my younger life has been about chaos and life. Or maybe I think that because it really is hard to see the forest for the trees when you’re stuck in the middle of the damn forest.
But who cares, right?
All I know is that I have been more prolific in the past week than I have in years. And I have more work planned for today.
I’m excited to finish up the second screenplay, start work on the third and finish editing the second draft of my first screenplay that I’ve written since 2003.
At almost a full decade later, I am writing again. And it is wonderful.
